Five minutes away from our flat and only visiting Brew once seems almost criminal. Now I have experienced their breakfasts there is no way back... with eggs poached to perfection, homemade baked beans and caramel latte's to die for, it's one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in London. However I may be bias as my Australian heart melted upon discovering marmite and Anzac biscuits were part of the varied menu. Nevertheless, I think the food speaks for itself and it definitely hits the spot... no matter where you're from, you know a good breakfast when you try one.
Turning twenty one saw many a joyous occasion, mostly notably concerned with dining out. After trying out Harrods' breakfast last summer I thought another early wake up call was in order for another potentially outstanding first meal of the day. Aqua, situated on the 31st floor of The Shard did not disappoint. I recommend checking it out for a little bit of luxury... but maybe don't accept the offer of both orange juice & tea prior to reading the menu like we did (psst, they'll set you back £4 each)
